Life changing Transformation through an Intuitive Counseling session!

My passionate intent is to help you to create lasting and permanent transformation in your life. I do this by being sensitive to intuitive wisdom which guides me in knowing just the right insight to share or the appropriate technique to use. Ultimately, I gently help you to remove the roadblocks that have kept you from having what you desire, and more importantly being free to be the powerful person that you were intended to be!

What exactly do I mean by an "Intuitive Counseling" session?

I don't know if I coined the phrase "Intuitive Counseling," but I do know that when I was trying to come up with a title for what I did, I tried on a lot of different names, and that's the one that felt right. Now, I am a life coach of sorts, but I think of myself more as an encourager than a coach. But, can you image someone being called an Encouraging Counselor? Okay, it may be accurate, but too corny for my taste. I really think of myself as a therapist because I consider what I do as therapeutic in nature. But, it has been my experience that the word therapist conjures up all sorts of weird ideas by those that don't really "get" what therapy is and the incredible human evolution that can occur (at least the way I do it), so I didn't to go that way either.

Interesting story... I was with a lady that I was just getting to know, and she asked me what I did. I said I was a therapist, and she got this horrified expression on her face as she made this comment about me working with "crazy people." I wasn't exactly offended, but I surprised by her comment. I don't think of therapy in terms of crazy people. Sure, there are some folks that do have a legitimate mental illness, but that is not the kind of problem that I counsel. But, as we further engaged in conversation, I realized that she really didn't see therapy as a tool for anyone except for those that are seriously mentally ill. She didn't seem to grasp the concept of using therapy as a way to expand one's choices and be more proactive about designing a purposeful life which is what I mean by "therapy."

So, needless to say, I didn't think the word "therapist" was adequate for me either. Anyway, as I played around with different words, I played around with the word "intuitive." Although none of the actual systems or processes that I had learned are labeled as such, I realized that what allows me to tailor the counseling process to each client is the fact that I have honed the process of listening to intuitive wisdom over the course of my decades here on this planet quite well. It is actually that quiet, subtle inner voice of wisdom that feeds me insight and direction, giving me the prodding to know which specific insight or process to use during counseling. So, I tried that on... "I'm an intuitive counselor." It felt comfortable. Although, I'm still not sure that anyone (others that those reading this) will really comprehend the exact meaning. And yet, I like it. So, for now, that's me... an intuitive counselor... I counsel by intuitive means... I counsel while listening to intuitive wisdom... I'm intuitive. Hopefully, I've defined the term now.

Who would benefit from an intuitive counseling session? Anyone that answers "yes" to any of these questions...

  • Do you feel out of control?
  • Do everyday situations get under your skin?
  • Do you live with constant angry, feelings of despair, or low self-esteem?
  • Are you overly sensitive and take things too personally?
  • Do you think that "they" are out to get you?
  • Are you tired of trying to reach your goals and feeling like you're making little or no progress?
  • Do you sense that there's more to life, but no matter what you do you can't seem to get it?
  • Are your relationships filled with mis-understandings, lack of quality communication, anger, bitternes or resentment?
  • Do you feel like you're alone in your marriage?
  • Are your children difficult to handle or controlling your household?
  • Do you find yourself attracting situations that you don't want and feeling powerless over them?
  • Have you ever tried to change and failed?

You may be wondering now how do I successfully make changes in my life? An intuitive counseling session is the perfect opportunity to get clarity on what's going on in your life that's not working, and resolve it. In these sessions, we will uncover the actual root causes of unresolved emotional baggage and transform it.

Intuitive Counseling Sessions can:

  • Identify the root cause of negative behavioral thinking patterns
  • Transform unresolved emotional baggage into a powerful sense of well-being
  • Turn today's despair into hope for a fabulous tomorrow
  • Uncover your authentic nature
  • Unleash your spirituality, connecting you with a sense of oneness with yourself and others
  • Re-connect you to your personal power
  • Align you to your life's purpose
  • Set you free to be the magnificence that is the real YOU!

How do you effectively make changes?

Thats a good question! Whether you use traditional therapies or do it yourself, often the strategy is to either use maximum will power to fight an urge OR find an alternative, more desirable behavior hoping that will solve the problem. However, neither of these methods usually last for the long term. The difficulty is -- that the actual root cause of the unwanted behavior has not been identified. And unless we address the root cause, the negative behaviors simply find a new (sometimes even more problematic) avenue to be expressed. Rarely are the behaviors the actual cause of the trouble, although, thats where we typically look to solve the it. So, how then, do you find the root cause of a particular negative behavior? Until now, there was no scientific formula and it was left to hit or miss. However, in the move toward faster, quicker, and better technologies, the solution has been discovered. So, read on...

The Birth of Intuitive Counseling

With every class and workshop that I took to learn the many masterful techniques that I've learned, there was accompaning literature. After a while, I noticed that they are said basically the same thing:  the benefits of these courses would be the "do all, end all" that I'd been searching for, and that these processes would finally make me happy, rich, successful, etc.  Well, if that were true, I would have only taken one course and I'd have it all.  But, when one course didn't resolve ALL of my life's problems, I took another workshop and  believed the literature that this was the one.  And when that didn't fix it all, I was in search of yet another course... and so on and so on...

The truth has been that each course has had something very valuable to teach me.  And each set of techniques is powerful.  Then after learning each set of skills, armed with my excitement for the newness of these processes, I would use them exclusively just like I'd been taught by my instructor.  I was always so impressed by the results in the classroom, I was denying the quiet, subtle inner voice that was telling me to deviate from the technique slightly by adding a twist that I'd learned from a different course.  After all, I didn't want to stray from the process because I believed that the power of the technique was in following it precisely as taught.  Although clients experienced powerful results during counseling sessions, I began to be discontented... and then confused... followed by a loss in my desire to counsel.  As a matter a fact, I found myself saying, "I hate couseling, and don't ever want to do it again."   And with that, I knew something was seriously wrong because helping effect change is my passion and my greatest joy!

For a couple of years, I tried to figure out what had happened to my desire to counsel and what went wrong.  While going over it in my head, I knew that I had practically perfected using the tools exactly like I'd been taught, so I didn't see that as the problem.  I even had sessions with other practitioners, and got to again expereince the powerful results of these techniques personally.  So, I'd get encouraged to go out and practice it again... and I'd try so hard to be just like the practitioners & instructors that had showed me how.  And still I wasn't happy with counseling.  I wanted so badly to use all that I'd learned that I would think through each technique over and over, but was finding aspects of these techniques that didn't feel comfortable.

So, what was "off" I wondered... Looking back, I had many clues along the way, but I was not paying attention to that quiet, subtle inner voice that was always there.  Ironically, one of my favorite encouragements to people when they are comparing themselves to others and feeling that they were falling short is:  "The world only needs one Suzie (if that was the name of that person they compared themselves to).  And if you became just like Suzie, then one of you is not needed.  And there would be nobody being YOU!  The world needs your uniqueness, don't try to be someone else, be all that God created you to be, then you'll find your joy!"  It took me long enough to finally "get it."  But, I finally did.  I wasn't supposed to be like those that had taught the classes or any other practitioner.  I needed to be ME!  I needed to follow that quiet, subtle inner voice that often guided me to adjust the techniques, or infuse the intention of several techniques together creating something even more incredible.  As I began to throw off the internal constraints I'd placed on myself about trying so hard to be like someone that I was not, I began to get excited.  I began to observe new strategies coming into my awareness... ones that were unique, and yet had traces of other techniques that I'd learned in the past, and yet completely different at the same time.  I knew I was on to something.  The more I listened to my inner voice, the more clear my understandings became.  And everything seemed faster and easier than anything that I'd learned in any one class.

The key was before me all along.  Listen to that quiet, subtle inner voice!  When I do, the answers come.  And I no longer felt that I was betraying each of those courses I'd taken, instead I have such a gratefulness for each technique I've learned, as it is the synergy of all of those skills that I use today.

I've found, we are all so unique that not any one technique is the ultimate tool to fix everyone.  I believe every person could benefit from every technique that I learned, however, there are particular techniques or insights that would be best suited for you to give you the biggest bang for your buck.  And in the interest of time, wouldn't you want to know what that one technique or insight is?  Well, that's were the "intuitive" part of the counseling comes in.  Intuitive counseling means I listen to that quiet, subtle inner voice to access the best direction that is just right for your needs.  Therefore, every session is unique and is tailored for YOU!

The Tools of Intuitive Counseling

It is a synergy of multiple transformation tools that my intuitive guidance has to draw upon.  And here are a good majority of them that I recognize as having had a great influence on me:

Intuition is that quiet, subtle, inner voice that reveals insight  direction for your specific needs.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a methodology, that utilizes specialized techniques to create changes at the unconscious level (which is where ALL change takes place, not in the conscious mind where most people think it occurs.)  NLP is an understanding of how the mind is programmed or communicates to itself and others, and ultimately affects one's behavior.  And by utilizing the language that the mind understands, one can achieve specific desired objectives consistently.

Hypnosis is one of the oldest and most natural forms of healing known to man. Through the use of structured language and the rhythm of voice, positive and empowering beliefs are installed to improve the quality of your life.

Time Line Therapy is a process that will allow you to resolve negative emotions, limiting decisions, or other conflicts from memories of past events, resulting in dramatic improvements in your personal growth and development.  Each experience of life is coded and stored deep within your neurology as memories.  And by identifying and then changing the memory of the original event that led to the current unwanted behaviors, life as you know it, is forever improved!

Avatar explores one's consciousness.  It involves understanding how we perceive our reality and how the judgments we make effects what we actually experience.

The Work of Byron Katie is simply four questions and a turnaround which when used radically alters your perspective and diffuses negative emotional charges.

Direct Access utilizes a persons intuitive wisdom through muscle response feedback.  It is an exclusive technique to pinpoint memories, fears and beliefs that limit a person from being a success naturally.

"If you keep doing what youve always done, you'll keep getting what youve always gotten!" Aren't you ready to make a change, right now? After all, the most valuable investment you can make is in yourself! Aren't you worth it?
